We are resilient!

Our 4th graders voted to learn outside in the snow for a stint!

It’s been awhile since I’ve put out a newsletter, but plenty has been happening! Immediately after returning from Christmas break we were greeted by a polar vortex that has seemingly just started to let up this week! When our kids returned the cold and snow didn’t seem to deter them much as they were ready to jump back into what we do and take our learning outside. The bitter temps have definitely cramped our style as we’ve been indoors more than we like, but we’re doing great and learning continues!

Our curriculum capitalizes on the changing seasons which allows us to focus on creation as integral to what we’re learning year-round! Enjoy the photo gallery of what’s been happening at Joshua Academy in January.

Thank you for your continued prayers as we open applications for next year on Feb. 1st. We ask for discernment as we “expand our tent” and admit new students and families and begin planning and construction on our Middle School yurt village in the coming months. We received a $50,000 grant from the VELA Foundation that will get us started on our expansion! Praise God!
