Joshua Academy is a ministry of Jubilee Church, a non-denominational church located in Van Buren, Arkansas. Jubilee’s mission is to Encourage with the Love of God, Equip with the Word of God, and Empower with the Fullness of God.
Our school was born out of a love for children and a desire to provide families in our area a Christian alternative for their children’s education.
We are AWAKE, we are TRUTH SEEKERS, we are UNITED, we follow GOD’S PLAN, and we believe THE BIBLE is as relevant today as when it was written.

Two buildings accommodate Kindergarten through 7th grade across 8 classrooms. Indoor spaces include classrooms, library, multipurpose areas, sanctuary and kitchens. Outdoor spaces include 2 acres of grass, 4 acres of wooded forest with five outdoor classroom spaces, gaga ball pit, a school garden, two massive covered patios for lunch & outdoor learning, and an outdoor amphitheater! We gather in our amphitheater each morning for our Morning Welcome as we join together as a community to praise the Lord in song, and celebrate His goodness.
Grade roll-out plan
We opened our school in Fall 2023 with Kindergarten through 5th grade and added 6th/7th in 2024. We will add one higher grade each year as our oldest students progress. We plan to offer a K-12 school at full build-out. Class size is less than 20 students.
Our curriculum is designed for teachers to remain with their class for 2-year cycles (3-year cycle for Middle School), with a unique theme for each year. This arrangement provides stability and continuity for each classroom. Read more about our curriculum here.
