“I demonstrate Fruit of the Spirit in my life.”
From “Our Commitments”
Mrs. McKenzie’s class surprised us at chapel with a beautiful arrangement of “Send Me” played by Nora on ukulele, Marie on the bongo and Hadassah on maracas.
It was a huge week! Not only was it Dr. Witzke’s first week back after vacation but we also attended a play that featured Eva Steininger (2nd grade), enjoyed our families during Family Lunch, planted our school garden (thank you Terry Carson, aka “Pepa”) and were treated to a song, “Send Me” prepared, played and sung by the East and West class! If you missed chapel Friday, be sure to check out the videos on the Family Facebook Page. Mrs. Dean and Dr. Witzke were so blessed, and there wan’t a dry eye in the house! It was a special performance.
Historic Solar Eclipse April 8 will close our school for a day
The eclipse will provide a unique learning opportunity as we observe from home through our eclipse glasses and complete our packets as part of an Alternative Mode of Instruction (AMI) day.
Student interviews begin next week
With teacher interviews wrapped up, we are ready to meet our new student hopefuls starting next week! These will likely continue into the summer. Join us in prayer over our new families as we welcome many students to campus after school. As we have declared over our school since the beginning, “we have an abundance problem.” We are thankful and grateful that so many new families are seeking a Christian education for their kids.
