“I demonstrate technical and mathematical fluency.”

From “Our Commitments

What an amazing week! The FRUIT of 8 months of pouring into your kids as WHOLE children, mind, body, and spirit, is showing up BIG! Our webpage about Our Commitments, those 22 characteristics that we evaluate students on every year, states, “Research shows that when you teach and nurture a child’s character, academic achievement improves. That’s why two-thirds of what we assess is based on the body (abilities) and the spirit (skills).”

Starting in August, we sought to establish a culture of respect, honesty, obedience, and constructiveness, as we honored the Lord as image-bearers of Christ. We have partnered with you to support your kids while we aligned with God’s design and it all seems to be coming together.

Romans 5:4 says, “And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation” (NLT). The Message translation says this (Romans 5:4-5), “There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!”

I feel every bit of that pouring out right now as I watch every child demonstrate who they are becoming in Christ. WOW! We are grateful for our teachers, staff, Board and volunteers who do this work every day!
