“I exhibit the fruit of the spirit in my life. I am loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, generous, faithful, gentle, and practice self-control.”
From “Our Commitments”
East & West starting the day off with prayer
Although we have enjoyed our Christmas break and being with our families, we have missed your kids! We are all excited to return to school this Tuesday, ready to go at 8 am!
I am humbled by where this journey has taken Shari and I since last December 31st. We had had only one parent information session at that point with no facilities to even tour! The Lord is faithful and promised that He would carry us if we continued to let Him do so. The next half of the school year will reveal more of what He has for us, the entire staff and for Joshua Academy as a school. Please spread the word that we are opening our Middle School with 6th and 7th grade next Fall, as well as adding another K/1 combined class! Stay tuned.
ANNOUNCEMENTS!
It’s looking like some cold weather is coming. If you have bibs or coveralls for your child, you might consider sending those to school. If it’s above 32 degrees, we will be outside some!
Don’t forget to bring boots and rain suits back to school! Please label them with your child’s name.
Re-enrollment begins soon! Check your email this week for instructions about how to re-enroll your child for next Fall. The process is getting streamlined and we’re getting a FACTS upgrade that will allow you to do everything (including billing/payments) from your FACTS Family Portal. For those planning to enroll siblings, you’ll have priority registration - stay tuned.
Do you or someone you know have special skills and an interest in teaching or helping out with art, music, PE, or 4-H for a few hours one day a week? We are ready to build out some of these special classes and thought we would start by asking YOU.
