“I take initiative and I persevere even when things are difficult. I form trusting relationships and practice kindness to nurture my friendships.”
From “Our Commitments”
This week we had an unusual schedule that included a family lunch and classes attending one or more of three different field trips! East & West got to wrap up their study of Native American tribes with a trip to Bentonville’s Museum of Native American History, Hidden & Revealed supported two students who performed in The Lion King at Van Buren High School, and all classes went to Lollis Tree Farm to learn about Christmas trees! It was an experiential-filled week to say the least!
We wrapped up our scripture recitation of Psalm 23 in Morning Welcome and started learning a couple of Christmas songs for our Christmas Chapel next Friday. Jessica Jernigan, our Children’s Pastor, will share something really special with us…we hope to see you there from 8-8:30 am!
