Nora reads our daily devotional at Morning Welcome. We practice public speaking because it’s one of our commitments!
We enjoyed another gorgeous week of sunshine and nice temperatures which provided ample opportunities to learn outside. We are so blessed to have the freedom to teach and learn this way.
We’re adding special classes!
This week we met our new art teacher and added an art class to our weekly schedule! Savanna Ridenour is a certified art teacher, local artist, illustrator, children’s church teacher, and homeschool mom. We are so blessed to have her join us every Wednesday afternoon! The kids are so excited.
Next week our new PE teacher, Jade Villines, will start weekly PE classes! We’ll be using a structured, standards and research-based physical education curriculum called “SPARK” that Dr. Witzke has experience with from her days as a Kinesiology Department Chair.
Enrollment report and new hire plan
With almost 200 new inquiries for next Fall, we’ve been busy providing parent tours and gearing up for new student interviews starting the week of Feb 26th. Dr. Witzke will be communicating with current families soon about our growth plan for Fall.
Be on the lookout for hiring announcements for new teachers next week on our webpage and Facebook page! If you know highly qualified teachers who may be interested in joining the Warrior Family, be sure to send them our way.
ANNOUNCEMENTS!
For Valentine’s Day, we’re serving pizza and heart cookies and kids will make cards in class so please do not send in store bought valentines. Please still send a snack Wednesday!
Field trip to Arts on Main on Monday, Feb. 12th - please have your child wear JA gear.

Feb. 14 (Wed) - Valentine’s Day - pizza and heart cookies!
Feb 16 (Fri) - Family chapel. All family members are welcome to attend every Friday, 8-8:30 am.
Feb 19 (Mon) - President’s Day - NO SCHOOL/Teacher professional development (with Amy Imbody In D.C!)
Feb 29 (Thurs) - Parent/Teacher conferences - your teacher will reach out about scheduling you.
