Preparing for a world that AI cannot replace

Our 8th graders collaborated with 1st graders on nature observation and sentence writing.
Technology will continue to advance, but human value will increasingly belong to those who can do what machines cannot: think critically, create meaning, lead others, act ethically, endure hardship, and live with courage and faith.
At Joshua Academy, we are doing just that. Inspired by ideas from The Alpha Blueprint, by Adam Hardage, here are 10 essential human strengths we intentionally cultivate every day.

5. Courage & Resilience - Students are encouraged to try hard things, recover from failure, and stand firm in God’s truth.
6. Emotional Intelligence & Compassion- Real relationships shape empathy, self-control, and care for others—skills formed only in community.
7. Collaboration & Leadership - Students learn to work with others, build trust, and lead with humility and purpose.
8. Ethics & Stewardship - Every subject is grounded in the question of what is right, true, and worth protecting.
9. Faith & Purpose - Faith in Christ anchors learning, giving students confidence beyond what can be measured or predicted.
10. Physical Growth & Joyful Play - Strong bodies, joyful play, and healthy rhythms support sharp minds and resilient spirits.
At Joshua Academy, we are not preparing future-ready kids to compete with artificial intelligence. We are cultivating whole children - mind, body, and spirit - to boldly engage with the world as the image-bearers that God created them to be!
