Everything we do at Joshua Academy is PURPOSEFUL. Do you see playing in the dirt, swinging from vines, and goofing off in the forest? We see fine motor development through pinching and grasping activities that prepare us to hold a pencil and write letters, gross motor development through strength and balance activities that refine coordination and limb integration, and relationship building through play and cooperation that point us back to our Father in Heaven.

God’s creation is the perfect classroom! Children naturally love to learn about the world around them. We teach children in the way they learn best — by interacting with each other and discovering their outdoor environment using all of their senses.
Integral academics
At our school, kids learn how the world is connected! Our integral model emphasizes connections between subjects around a theme. This is how the real world works so we teach our students how to ask questions that matter and how to find answers that are meaningful.
